Retail Associate and Building Attendant

The Retail Associate & Building Attendant is responsible for assisting customers with purchases, maintaining store cleanliness and organization, and supporting daily operations to achieve sales goals and ensure a positive shopping experience. The position’s base is in the Outfitter Shop in the Post and is also responsible for maintaining the building’s appearance to ensure a clean, professional, and welcoming environment for club members and visitors to the property.

Customer Service – greet and assist customers in a prompt and friendly manner, answer questions regarding products, handle returns, exchanges, and customer feedback.

Merchandising & Stock – Restock shelves, fold and maintain table displays, etc., assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries, perform inventory counts and report discrepancies, ensure products are accurately labeled and priced.

Store Operations – operate POS system (member charge and credit card payments), follow opening and closing procedures, maintain store cleanliness (sweeping, organizing, sanitizing surfaces).

Maintaining building cleanliness & appearance – ensuring walkways are clear of debris, washing windows, trash removal, picking up pool towels, straightening furniture, etc.

Oversee Snack Bar – restocking beverages and snacks, cleaning ice cream machine, etc.
